About Our Jewellery

What are your pieces made of?

All House of Riva jewellery is crafted over a 316L surgical stainless steel base, gold plated and finished to be anti-tarnish and waterproof. Our pieces contain no brass and no nickel, making them safe for sensitive skin.

Will the gold plating fade or tarnish?

Our pieces are designed to resist tarnishing with everyday wear, and are covered by our 6-month colour warranty. To extend the life of your jewellery, avoid prolonged exposure to harsh chemicals such as bleach, chlorine and strong cleaning products.

Are your pieces safe for sensitive skin?

Yes. We use 316L surgical stainless steel as our base — the same grade used in medical implants. There is no brass or nickel in any of our pieces.

Where do you ship from?

All orders are dispatched from New Delhi within 24 hours of placement.

How long will delivery take?

Metro cities 3–5 working days, rest of India 5–8 working days.

Do you offer cash on delivery?

No. We currently accept prepaid orders only, through UPI, debit and credit cards, net banking and wallets.

Is there a free shipping threshold?

No. Shipping is free on every order across India.

Returns

What is your return policy?

We do not accept returns or exchanges. If your order arrives damaged, defective or incorrect, please WhatsApp us an unboxing video within 48 hours of delivery and we will send a free replacement, or store credit if the piece is unavailable.

How do I report a damaged item?

Care

How should I care for my jewellery?

Store your pieces separately in their pouch, in a cool, dry place. Rinse with fresh water after the sea or a chlorinated pool, and wipe clean with a soft cloth.

Material

Will it turn my skin green?

No. 316L stainless steel doesn't react with sweat or skin oils, so there's nothing to transfer.

Can I shower and swim with it?

Yes — fresh water, sea water and sweat are all fine. Rinse after chlorinated pools.

Is the gold colour plated?

Yes — our gold pieces are 18K gold plated, PVD-bonded over 316L stainless steel. The PVD bond makes the 18K finish far tougher than ordinary plating, so it stays bright through showers, swims and sweat.
